BLENHEIM, Ontario – RM Sotheby’s opens the 2024 auction season in the Southwest at the historic Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa on Thursday, January 25,  2024. Returning to Arizona for a 26th year, the Biltmore will once again transform into a haven for automotive enthusiasts and collectors alike, bridging the gap between timeless Ford classics and contemporary prowess in addition to other incredible vehicle offerings.

A truly special offering demonstrating the allure of the Ford GT legacy, RM Sotheby’s will present two matching marvels from different eras. First, a 2018 Ford GT—a contemporary masterpiece with only 28 miles, cloaked in Ingot Silver and presented in pristine condition; a true collector’s gem. Complementing this modern icon is its celebrated predecessor, a 2005 Ford GT, which stands as one of the final analog supercars of the era. Notably, it is one of a mere 16 units produced that year, distinguished by a stripe-delete Quick Silver finish, a mere 2,470 miles on the clock, and outfitted with a McIntosh radio and lightweight BBS wheels. The opportunity to acquire matching Ford GTs from two pivotal points in automotive history—spanning the analog and digital age—is an occasion that Ford collectors will not want to miss.

For those whose passion veers towards classic American muscle, RM’s Arizona auction will also present an exceptional trio of Shelby Mustangs. Taking center stage is a pristinely restored 1967 Shelby GT500, one of only six in Dark Moss Green with a four-speed manual—an example that garnered gold status at the Shelby American Automobile Club’s 47th convention. Also available are two original-engine Shelbys: a coveted 1967 Shelby GT350 Fastback, also in Dark Moss Green and a 1966 Shelby GT350 H known for its distinctive red oxide floors. These storied Shelbys offer a remarkable opportunity for connoisseurs to acquire a piece of American automotive history.
